The Truckload Carriers Association and Overdrive Magazine have announced Robert J. McCray, an independent contractor owner/operator with Warren Transport, Inc., has been selected as the 5th place winner in their prestigious national Independent Contractor of the Year contest.

Each year the Truckload Carriers Association and Overdrive Magazine conduct a contest in search of the nation's safest and best independent contractor commercial motor vehicle operators. McCray qualified as a finalist by successfully logging over 2.75 million miles without an accident and having a spotless driving record and has been selected Warren's driver of the month three times.

McCray was recently honored at the TCA's annual meeting in Las Vegas, attending with company president, Robert Molinaro.

Warren, headquartered in Waterloo, Iowa, is a specialized, irregular route, commercial motor carrier operating in all forty-eight contiguous United States as well as into and out of Canada and offering through-trailer service to and from Mexico. Warren is the largest transporter of agricultural and farm machinery and equipment in North America.
