Warren Transport, Inc., of Waterloo, Iowa, has announced that James E. Schuman has been promoted to the position of Vice President of Van Operations.

Schuman started with Warren Transport in October of 1969. Since the beginning, Jim has had the opportunity to serve in a number of capacities and areas to round out his background and education, which allows him to be very qualified for this position.

His operational background includes dispatching, coordinating, Chief Dispatcher and most recently, Manager of Van Operations. Under Jim's leadership the van division has grown at a dramatic pace while bringing on new customers and expanding its total customer base. He has spent a considerable amount of time in Mexico and throughout the U.S. developing alliances with new and old customers.

Warren, headquartered in Waterloo, Iowa, is a specialized, irregular route commercial motor carrier operating in all forty-eight contiguous United States as well as into and out of Canada and offering through-trailer service to and from Mexico.
