Qualifications To become qualified as a Warren Transport Commercial Motor Vehicle Operator, an individual must first meet the following minimum requirements. 1. Qualification requirements under Part 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, Department of Transportation, must be met. 2. Applicants 23 years of age or older with at least one year's experience or 100,000 miles (which includes all four seasons of the year) in tractor/trailer, over-the-road driving for a single-driver operation are eligible for contractor consideration. 3. Experience is accepted within three years of current date. 4. Final consideration will be based on previous performance, driving and accident record. 5. Any state driving record with an entry of driving while intoxicated or under the influence, if within five years, will not be honored. This notice is to advise prospective Warren Transport, Inc. commercial motor vehicle drivers that Warren Transport supports and complies with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's mandatory controlled substance and alcohol testing programs as specified in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. Per the provisions specified in the regulations cited above, individuals desiring to be accepted by Warren Transport, Inc. must submit to and pass a controlled substance test in accordance with said provisions in order to be qualified to perform as a commercial motor vehicle driver. Drivers testing negative (passing) must still meet all other criteria in order to be deemed as "qualified." Drivers testing positive (failing) will not be accepted and will be held responsible for paying for expenses relating to the test. |
